The black threads she is draped within are the threads of fate. Of death, really.
The doves are The Fates in disguise, and also The Erinyes. Because we can't have love without also being in loving relationship with death.

Begun on February 14 2022. Completed after one full revolution round the sun, including a full nine month gestation in which tiny moles were gifted to her body by a spider.
