Father to Circe, Phaethon, and other significant mythological figures, Helios' power is nurturing - providing them with the wisdom and power inherited from a divine being - yet it is also stern, enforcing the boundaries of their abilities. He brings not only life and illumination, but also the structure and discipline necessary for growth and learning.

Witness to all things from his elevated position, Helios may be invoked for protection during travel, especially journeys taken during daylight. From this all-seeing position he is also an icon of truth and an enforcer of justice. His guidance may be invoked to ensure fairness or to uncover what is hidden.
