"Phantom Queen" The Morrigan is a goddess of war and fate, but also of sovereignty and prophecy, who appears at the cusp of great change. She is also associated with the land and animals, and has been known to be a manifestation of an earth goddess, guardian of the territory and its people. She may be called upon to provide political or military aid, particularly when defending sovereignty and right relations to the land. Her sword slices away what is old and dead, revealing what has always been eternal and true underneath.

As a shapeshifter with an affinity with corvids, here she takes the form of a raven - the bird that feeds on battlefields and carries messages between worlds. Raven sees from above, knows what's coming, speaks uncomfortable truths. When An Mórigan appears as raven, she's watching, witnessing, calling you to see with that same clarity.

As this year darkens toward its end and another readies to be born, her energy is most potent. The Morrigan is for those who are ready to meet their own power directly, who are ready for transformation that can hold the shadow as well as the light.
